ChanceGoal legal & safety
Cookie Policy
This page explains how ChanceGoal uses essential browser storage and optional analytics storage on the web.
Essential storage
Essential browser storage keeps the web app usable and secure. This includes sign-in state, security checks, theme preference, consent choice, and app settings you choose to save.
- Essential storage is required for core app functionality.
- Removing essential storage may sign you out or reset local preferences.
- Authenticated pages and user-specific API responses must remain private and no-store.
Optional analytics
Analytics storage is optional. If you allow analytics, ChanceGoal may use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to measure page views, feature interactions, device/browser category, reliability, and performance.
- Analytics is not required to browse public pages or use account features.
- The web app does not load Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics until analytics storage is allowed in the cookie banner.
- You can reopen Privacy choices from the bottom of the page and switch back to Essential only.
Local app preferences
ChanceGoal may store local preferences such as theme, onboarding progress, followed-sport interests before sync, notification intent, and remembered push-device state. These values help restore the experience in the same browser.
