“The first thing we need to work on is keeping that balance and analysing what’s right or wrong. Getting depressed right now is not going to help. They were three very different defeats, because it’s ridiculous the way we conceded five goals against Como and Inter, but tonight in order to score against us, Arsenal needed an extraordinary moment of quality.
“We could’ve scored, so could they, but at this level the technical choices are fundamental. I hear people say we need to press higher or lower, but it’s really about making the right choices, because otherwise the opponents will make them.
“The lads are demoralised after this defeat, because they gave absolutely everything they had,” concluded Allegri.
