What happened
Cagliari's promising young player Trepy has been placed in intensive care after a drowning accident. Chance analysis
This is a serious health emergency involving a young Cagliari player. Beyond the immediate human concern, the incident creates uncertainty around a prospect the club was developing. From a soccer decision-making perspective, this removes Trepy from any short-term selection considerations and could have a morale impact on the squad and youth setup. The lack of detail around the circumstances means the footballing impact is secondary to the welfare concern.
Trepy is immediately unavailable for Cagliari in all competitions pending recovery, with potential long-term implications for his development and squad availability.
Exclude Trepy from any Cagliari selection or fantasy predictions until further updates confirm his availability timeline.
