(Photo by Dean Mouhtaropoulos/Getty Images) Trevoh Chalobah intercepted a dangerous Givairo Read pull-back from the right by-line, but Como took the lead when Assane Diao ran onto a long Jacobo Ramon ball from midfield, shrugged off Javi Lopez and cut inside to curl a left-foot finish past the goalkeeper one-on-one.
It barely lasted 120 seconds before Gijvai Zechiel controlled with his back to goal, turned Maxi Perrone and smashed in a screamer from the edge of the area.
Diao limped off with a muscular issue that he may well have suffered when scoring the goal, replaced by Jesus Rodriguez after just 23 minutes.

(Photo by Lars Baron/Getty Images) Martin Baturina’s snapshot from distance stung the Feyenoord goalkeeper’s gloves, while Sanchez parried the Givairo Read daisy-cutter that had gone through the legs of offside Mika Marmol.
Feyenoord turned the game around after the restart, as Anis Hadj Moussa cut inside from the right and drilled left-footed into the near bottom corner, between Kaiki and the glove of Sanchez.
ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – OCTOBER 14: Anis Hadj Moussa of Feyenoord scores his team’s second goal during the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 League Phase MD2 match between Feyenoord and Como 1907 at De Kuip on October 14, 2026 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. (Photo by Lars Baron/Getty Images) Cesc Fabregas made a triple substitution and it almost paid off immediately, as Tasos Douvikas nodded an Alex Valle cross over from six yards, then Lucas Da Cunha’s snapshot was smothered by Tjark Ernst.
Nico Paz set up Jesus Rodriguez, who couldn’t get it under control inside the penalty area, then nobody was ready to meet the Hadj Moussa roll across the face of goal.
There was also a Nico Paz give and go with Maxi Perrone to drill just wide, but Sanchez got a fingertip to push the Hadj Moussa strike onto the upright from the tightest of angles.
ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – OCTOBER 14: Gjivai Zechiel of Feyenoord celebrates scoring his team’s first goal during the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 League Phase MD2 match between Feyenoord and Como 1907 at De Kuip on October 14, 2026 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. (Photo by Dean Mouhtaropoulos/Getty Images) Feyenoord extended their lead to 3-1 with a remarkable bit of luck. Read robbed Jesus Rodriguez, but Hadj Moussa saw his strike from the edge of the area take a massive deflection off Jacobo Ramon, it bounced off the upright and ricocheted in off Sanchez’s back.
Como tried to the end, Nico Paz firing wide and Mattia Liberali stinging the goalkeeper’s gloves. They did pull one back with practically the last kick of the game, as Mika Marmol made a mess of intercepting the long ball, so Tasos Douvikas pounced on the rebound to blast home.

What happened
In a UEFA Champions League fixture, Como took the lead but were undone by a Feyenoord comeback in Rotterdam, with the Dutch side eventually running out 3-2 winners. The result marks a frustrating away outing for Como, who will rue the missed opportunity to take points from their trip to the Netherlands. Feyenoord's resilience at home gives them a valuable victory in the group stage campaign.
Chance analysis
A blown lead on the road in the Champions League is the kind of result that can define a club's European campaign. Como looked capable of taking something from Rotterdam, but Feyenoord's ability to flip the scoreline at De Kuip underlines the home side's threat when games open up. For Como, the focus will quickly turn to regrouping before the next European assignment.
Feyenoord gain a morale-boosting home UCL win; Como drop points after failing to protect a lead away from home.
