He jumped at the opportunity to make this move, as he was a self-confessed Inter supporter since childhood.

It was reported at the time that Provedel would not be back on the field until the end of August, so Inter might have to wait a while before seeing him make his debut.
Although regularly called up for the senior Italy squad, he is yet to make his first appearance.
