(Photo by Stu Forster/Getty Images) According to Gazzetta, Carnevali contacted De Zerbi to sound out his availability to sell Italy international Vicario who is quickly becoming Juventus’ top goalkeeping option after Aston Villa announced they’d not sell Dibu Martinez.
The conversation also involved Brazilian striker Richarlison who has less than a year left in his contract with Spurs and seems unwilling to pen a new deal.
According to the report, Tottenham’s asking price for the 29-year-old is around €25m, but Richarlison remains a ‘Plan B’ for the Bianconeri who still hope to bring Randal Kolo Muani back from PSG.
Ironically, Richarlison scored more goals than Kolo Muani at Tottenham last season as the Brazilian managed 12 while the Frenchman only netted five times.

What happened
Juventus have reportedly opened direct negotiations with Roberto De Zerbi, with two Tottenham Hotspur players reportedly on the agenda. The talks suggest Juventus may be evaluating De Zerbi as a managerial candidate while also exploring the market for Tottenham talent. The dual-track approach indicates the Italian club is being proactive in restructuring both their squad and coaching staff ahead of the next transfer window.
Chance analysis
This story connects two significant Premier League/Serie A storylines: Juventus's managerial search and their transfer strategy targeting Tottenham. Direct talks of this nature typically precede either a formal managerial appointment or concrete transfer negotiations, making it relevant for prediction systems monitoring both club's upcoming seasons. The involvement of two players suggests a broader squad rebuild rather than a single-target operation.
Juventus may strengthen both their coaching staff and squad with Tottenham talent, while Tottenham risk losing key players during a transition period.
Monitor De Zerbi's next club appointment closely and watch for Tottenham player departures that could weaken Spurs' depth in specific positions.
