Pape Matar Sarr has completed his transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Juventus, signing the contract with director Frederic Massara (Juventus.com) “My first impression is that Juventus is a huge club with a history of great players like Zidane, Paulo Pogba, and Platini. This club means a lot to me. It’s a great club, and I’m very happy to be here,” Sarr told Juventus’ official website.
“I’m really excited about getting stuck into this new challenge at Juventus.”
Juventus had targeted Franck Kessié, but ultimately failed to reach an agreement with the Ivory Coast international, who was available as a free agent, so they signed Sarr instead.
“I’m a player who likes to get up and down both ends of the field. I can score goals, build the team’s play and defend as well,” said the Tottenham loanee.
