Spalletti previews 'vivacious' Juventus vs Milan with attacking approaches

Luciano Spalletti insists he is expecting a ‘vivacious’ Juventus vs. Milan this evening and welcomes an attacking approach from both teams. ‘There are players who can create.’

Ruben Amorim said that he will take the usual aggressive approach for Milan this evening, and that is music to Spalletti’s ears.

“When the opponents want to take the initiative and aim to win, that is an accelerant for our own ambitions, as we want to do the same. It opens up the spaces, so we must then do well to anticipate the events, make the right decisions. If you leave spaces and wander around as 11 individuals instead of a team, that invites the opponent in.”

It allows Kerim Alajbegovic to get his first start in the Juve jersey, with Nico Gonzalez also welcomed back into the starting XI.

“The choices are difficult, because Nico starts today, but he won’t have the same impact that he did in the last game. The important thing is that everyone is ready when called upon, because we will need another five to come off the bench and be decisive tonight,” concluded Spalletti.
