Rob Schoofs (born 23 March 1994) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian Pro League. Schoofs was Gent's then record signing in the summer of 2017, but only stayed there for one season. In 2018, Schoofs moved to newly-relegated Mechelen, helping them in his first season at the club to promotion and Cup success, becoming only the second club from outside the top flight in history to win the Belgian Cup. They were the first club to do this double.
